"she asked me if i claimed to be "saved" and i scoffed at the inquiry. what does being "saved" mean anyway? have i accepted jesus christ as my personal saviour? yeah, a long time ago. do jesus and i have a close relationship? to know me is to know that all of my relationships are strained. am i "saved"? before i say anything that'll make me sound like a hypocrite i'll pose my answer like this. knowing jesus "saves" everyone else from the asshole i would be if i didn't. am i "saved"? don't know; but everyone else is...from me. thank god for that."
